Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko is one of the most successful projects of JCI Daet Kabihug since it has a practical approach to helping disadvantaged members of society. It specifically targets physically handicapped individuals who are often overlooked by government and other organizations.
The project included spiritual enrichment, seminars on the rights and privileges of beneficiaries, workshops and trainings on job opportunities, basic occupational therapy at home, and distribution of grocery packs. It also provided wheelchairs to those in need, as well as medical assistance. |
unleash: the training saga

UNLEASH: The Training Saga is an extensive program organized by JCI Daet Kabihug, aimed at developing and empowering youth and student leaders in Camarines Norte. By equipping participants with essential skills and knowledge, the program aims to enhance their leadership capabilities and maximize their potential in driving positive change.
Aligned with the 2023 JCI Plan of Action, the program emphasizes being "Guided by Purpose" and understanding the "why" behind actions. Through comprehensive training, participants gain a deeper understanding of their purpose as leaders and the impact they can create. The program has already shown impressive results for JCI Daet Kabihug, with a significant increase in membership. |

SURF 360: 1ST BANTAYOG SURFING COMPETITION

The Surf 360: 1st Bantayog Surfing Competition has been part of the Bantayog Festival and the 103rd Founding Anniversary of the Province of Camarines Norte organized by JCI Daet Kabihug, Provincial Tourism Office, the Provincial Local Government Unit of Camarines Norte, and other partner government agencies and organizations. This Surfing Competition is open for international and local surfers and was held last 9th day of April 2023 during Easter Sunday at Bagasbas Beach, Daet, Camarines Norte.
This event mainly aims for physical fitness and health that work to build strength, endurance, and flexibility. This event has witnessed the showcased talent and skills of surfers. Together with the vibrant and exciting atmosphere of the beach, it has been enjoyed by tourists, visitors, and locals that also encourage themselves to immerse themselves in surfing culture. |

License to D.R.I.V.E is a subcomponent of Project: D.R.I.V.E (Developmental Response to Indigenous community through Visionary Enhancement) which seeks to establish a Five- (5) Year sustainable development program for the cultural preservation, rehabilitation and sustainability of the Manide Tribe.
This year's initiative is to support their main endeavors in relation to accessibility, mobility and engagement in terms of their Creative Economy. This was chosen by the organization as the first and vital element in the achievement of the goals and objectives of this project for tribal members who earn from their culture will eventually protect, develop and sustain it for this will be their major industry and source of income. |

The prevalence of children with special needs such ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ID (Intellectual Disability), GDD (Global Developmental Delay), ADHD (Attention Hyperactive Disorder) and the likes had risen markedly over the recent years. Their symptoms such as social inactivity, delayed cognitive functions and speech, may persist over a lifetime.
As Jaycees, our philosophy is to encourage young people to take responsibility in the local issues to find solutions that would benefit our community. Guided with our mission to provide opportunities, this project aims to empower young citizens especially children with special needs and their families thru collaborating with the proper government and private agencies towards giving them support in identifying and accessing proper intervention most suitable to their conditions that may have significant change to their well being, to their families, and the community. |

I- E.A.R.T.H (Environmental Assessment, Rehabilitation, Transformation and Help)

For this year, JCI Daet Kabihug flagship project is promoting environmental action and sustainability. Thus, it emphasize the importance of mangrove planting that will nurture our estuaries and fuel the nature-based economies.
Mangroves are important to the ecosystem too that their dense roots help bind and build soils. Mangrove forests also provides habitat and refuge to a wide array of wildlife such as birds, fish, invertebrates, mammals and plants. |
Kaogmahan sa Bagasbas

Kaogmahan sa Bagasbas is a Civic Involvement Program of JCI Daet Kabihug that aims to celebrate safe and fun Easter Sunday at Bagasbas Beach by engaging other government agencies and sectors of the community such as Local Government Units, Philippine National Police, Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Bagasbas Surfer Club, Barangay Council of Bagasbas, Kabalikat, Red Cross, various media outfits and other NGOs.
Every year, a huge number of participants flock together in the venue to enjoy Bagasbas Beach which is a top tourist destination in South Luzon. |

Shot of Joy (Vaccination drive for Kids)

Many children are still hesitant to undergo COVID-19 vaccine mainly because of safety concern. Another reason is that children tends to be hesitant due to the fact that they are just afraid to have the shot of vaccine. With this, a conducive environment and informational set-up should be provided to encourage the children as well as the parents approval to have their COVID-19 vaccine.
With the concerted efforts from public and private institutions, the launching of Shot of Joy: Resbakuna Kids vaccination against the coronavirus campaign at Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital was held last March 15, 2022. The month long-vaccination campaign drive, which will end on April 15, 2022 envisions the children to have their vaccine against COVID-19. |
