The prevalence of children with special needs such ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ID (Intellectual Disability), GDD (Global Developmental Delay), ADHD (Attention Hyperactive Disorder) and the likes had risen markedly over the recent years. Their symptoms such as social inactivity, delayed cognitive functions and speech, may persist over a lifetime.
As Jaycees, our philosophy is to encourage young people to take responsibility in the local issues to find solutions that would benefit our community. Guided with our mission to provide opportunities, this project aims to empower young citizens especially children with special needs and their families thru collaborating with the proper government and private agencies towards giving them support in identifying and accessing proper intervention most suitable to their conditions that may have significant change to their well being, to their families, and the community.

Many children are still hesitant to undergo COVID-19 vaccine mainly because of safety concern. Another reason is that children tends to be hesitant due to the fact that they are just afraid to have the shot of vaccine. With this, a conducive environment and informational set-up should be provided to encourage the children as well as the parents approval to have their COVID-19 vaccine.

The month long-vaccination campaign drive, which will end on April 15, 2022 envisions the children to have their vaccine against COVID-19.
